Research Highlights

A 3-dimensional finite element model created by graduate student Jerry Klinzing (advisor A. Zavaliangos) to study temperature distributions in a tablet during powder die compaction.  Studying these phenomena helps to produce safer pharmaceuticals more efficiently.  To learn more about how materials scientists use computer modeling to advance our understanding of the world around us, visit the Powder Materials Group.
