Ph.D. Student Kristy Jost Receives DoD National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship

Ph.D. student Kristy Jost (advisor:  Yury Gogotsi) is a recipient of the Department of Defense National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship (NDSEG). This award is in addition to the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship she received this year.

Kristy is one of approximately 200 Fellows selected from over 3,000 applications received this year.  The NDSEG Fellowship provides stipend and tuition and fees for three years to students in one of 15 science and engineering disciplines.  Students who receive the fellowship exhibit exceptional qualifications in pursuit of a doctoral degree.

Previous Drexel materials recipients of the award include Steven Spurgeon (advisor:  Mitra Taheri), Stephen Niezgoda (advisor:  Surya Kalidindi), and Thomas Juliano (advisor:  Yury Gogotsi).
