Ph.D. student Kristy Jost (advisor: Yury Gogotsi) has been invited to serve a one-year term on the IGERT.org advisory board. In this role, she will mentor new trainees who will be competing in this year’s IGERT online video and poster competition. In 2012, Kristy and Ph.D. student Carlos Perez (advisor: Yury Gogotsi) were the only entrants to win all three Judges’, Community and Public Choice awards for their video on Energy Textiles.
IGERT is the National Science Foundation’s flagship interdisciplinary training program for U.S. Ph.D. scientists and engineers. Kristy’s project is the Drexel/UPenn IGERT Fellowships in Nanoscale Science and Engineering: The Two University/One Campus Approach 2, Yury Gogotsi (PI).
