Celebrating Drexel’s 122nd Commencement

Drexel University celebrated its 122nd commencement ceremonies on Saturday, June 13, 2009.

The Department of Materials Science and Engineering hosted its 2009 graduates and their families at the annual departmental commencement breakfast prior to the College of Engineering’s commencement exercises.  For the third time, the department graduated 12 Ph.D. students, tying with the 2007-2008 and 2004-2005 academic years.

Faculty, staff, and students were honored with departmental awards and the seniors took the opportunity to give out their own “awards” to the faculty.  Photos from the event can be found here.
