Farrah Moldover Receives ASM International George A. Roberts Scholarship

Farrah Moldover (advisor:  Caroline Schauer) is the recipient of a George A. Roberts Scholarship from ASM International.

The George A. Roberts Scholarship award provides $6,000 towards educational expenses for one academic year as well as up to $500 toward travel expenses to the Materials Science and Technology Conference, October 17-21, 2010 in Houston, TX.

The scholarship is awarded to an outstanding undergraduate student at the junior or senior level who demonstrates exemplary academic and personal achievements, interest and potential in metallurgy or materials science and engineering, as well as financial need.

The scholarship was established in 1995 by ASM Past President Dr. George A. Roberts to help further the education of students serving as role models in the field.

Farrah is currently spending the summer studying abroad in Berlin, Germany at Humboldt University.
